You are free to use campsite amenities including restroom and showers. The marina of this campground includes in their services rental boats that are fully equipped. If you have your own boat, you can bring it to the campsite to get rid of rental expenses. The campground also offers crab boats available with crab rings, crab- cleaning station and baits. This is a great offer for vacationers who would love to catch and enjoy tasty crabs.

For riverside camping, the Alsea River banks are the perfect spot. Chinook RV Park offers campsites for both tent and RVs campers. Tent campers can set up tents on grassy areas equipped with electricity and water. On the other hand, RVs campers can enjoy hookups including electricity, sewer, water and cable television. There are other spots along the said riverbank where you are away from others. The available amenities within the campground include a laundry facility, restrooms and showers. Canoeing and kayaking are two great activities here to paddle the water trail of Alsea River. There is a variety of birds you can see foraging in the area like egrets, kingfishers, ospreys, blue herons and bald eagles.

Oceanside camping is popular in the Waldport KOA. In this campground, you can overlook Alsea Bay. You also get the chance to have a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean and the historic bridge of Waldport. Tents and RVs are both available in the campsite. All campsites offer hookups such as water, sewer, electricity and cable television. There are four amenities you can avail of within the campground such as restrooms, showers, laundry facility and camp store.

Since Waldport Oregon is a small and quiet town or village, you cannot find nightclubs and big box stores therein. Hence, small business establishments spread out in the town such as grocery stores, hair salons, banks, hardware store, taverns, restaurants, coffee shops and the like. You can stay at any of the three existing motels. The crime rate in Waldport is almost nonexistent. Community bicycles are available for the public and most of Waldport is merely within walking distance. It is great for you to visit the place during various important celebrations like Beachcomber Days in the month of June.
